Well, it’s official! Team Koozoo has set up camp in beautiful Austin, TX for the next week. As finalists in the SXSW Accelerator competition on Monday, we’re using South-by as a springboard for more downloads, more Koozoo members, and more awesome views.
The reception so far has been wonderful. Jonathan at Old School Bar and Grill and 6th and Trinity has basically let us set up our ATX Mission Control on his gorgeous balcony. Dozens of shop owners, bar owners, and restauranteurs have put up Koozoo cameras in their windows and dining rooms. And we’ve hired on 20 smart, fun local college students to help us get the word out over the next week.
Many thanks to all our supporters and Koozoo lovers back home in SF and around the world. We can feel the momentum and excitement picking up. Thanks for coming along for the ride!
Koozoo App version 1.6 is now available on the AppStore.
Updates include:
- No more crashing when broadcasting
- Share views with Twitter
- Add locations and #tags
Howdy!
The app has been in the app store for two days now, and the response has been impressive! Thousands of people have downloaded Koozoo and have begun sharing their view. Very cool!
Facebook Users Experience Crashing:
What’s not cool is the crashing problem some users that signed up with Facebook have experienced. We’re terribly sorry for this inconvenience, and we hope you don’t lose heart. Koozoo still rocks!
The Problem:
Some users that log in with Facebook Connect are experiencing repeated crashing when they try to broadcast. Such a bummer, we know.
Temporary fix:
1) Log out of Koozoo App
2) Sign Up again with an email address — a different email address than the one you use for Facebook
Permanent fix:
A new version that resolves this issue and included a bunch of cool new features will be hitting the AppStore by the end of the week.
Thanks for all your support and patience!
Well, it’s been two days since our launch, and we’re really excited to see so many cool new views coming on line!
